General Questions

What if I don't remember my password or username?

Not a problem, they are both easy to recover! Your username will be in the confirmation email you were sent after registration. If you need to reset your password, simply click on the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. If you are not receiving emails, there is a chance you might have mistyped your address during login. If you need further assistance, you can email us directly at support@voiceforce.net.

When will my account be activated?

We will do our best to activate accounts same business day—however our policy is to activate accounts within 24 hours. Our administrators must vet all accounts to ensure an honest, efficient, and reliable user experience for all.

How do I upgrade my account?

It’s easy! Once logged in, select “Account” from the menu icon in the upper right-hand corner. This will not only list your current plan, but will give you the option to upgrade.

Do I need to sign up in order to post a job/project?

Yes, but it is free for buyers to post projects! Better yet, agents and buyers can post breakdowns and email an external link to their contacts/buyers who aren’t yet on Voice Force.

Can I share my profile/breakdown with someone who is not currently registered?

Yes. Agents are able to initiate breakdowns for projects that aren’t posted on Voice Force. This also allows the agent to send an external link containing the audition and all talent information to the buyer for review.

As a talent, you and your agent have the option to make your Voice Force profile public. This will also generate an external link that you can send to your contacts who may not be on the platform, but also means your profile is public online to view.

Is my data secure?

Yes! Microsoft Azure, which hosts our database, is one of the most comprehensive and trustworthy cloud-computing services on the market. It is trusted worldwide by the healthcare industry, city governments, big box retailers, etc. For further technical details, please see Microsoft’s documentation for Azure Storage Service Encryption and transparent data encryption.

How can I receive email notifications for project, breakdown or audition notifications?

If you’d like to receive email notifications, simply go to “My Profile” on the hamburger menu in the upper right-hand corner of the platform. Scroll to the bottom of the page to “System Notifications” and click the button to turn on email notifications.

I changed my email address or phone number. How can I update this in the system?

It’s simple! Go to “My Profile” on the hamburger menu in the upper right-hand corner of the platform. This will take you to your profile settings where you can update your email address and phone number.

Can I use this on my smartphone or tablet?

Yes! Simply visit the website in your preferred browser. Our platform is mobile optimized to make casting on-the-go even easier!

How many login attempts until I am locked out?

After five login attempts, your account will be locked. This will require our admin team to unlock your account. We recommend resetting your password if you are still unable to login after three attempts. If you need further assistance, please feel free to email us directly at support@voiceforce.net.

Can multiple people in my office use my account?

Although we recommend you protect your login credentials (especially your password), multiple people can use your account simultaneously. We enabled this feature because buyers and agents might have staff, assistants, or interns collaborating on projects and rosters. If you’re interested in multiple logins for the same company, please contact Melanie at melanie@voiceforce.net.

Why do I keep having to login to Voice Force?

For your security, Voice Force has a three-hour idle time before auto-logging off. This means that if you are logged in, but haven’t completed a function on the platform for over three hours, you will be logged off by the platform.

Which browsers and operating systems does Voice Force support?

Voice Force is supported by Windows 10 and macOS Mojave, as well as the most recent versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Voice Force is also supported by, and is mobile-optimized for, Android Nougat 7.0 and iPhone iOS 12.1.2, as well as the most recent version of mobile Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

Questions for Buyers

How do I create a project?

It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. First, login to your account and click on the “Projects” tab. From here, simply click the “New Project” button.
  2. Complete the specification fields (required fields are marked with a red asterisk *), including the role(s). Be sure to select “Add” after each role.
  3. Lastly, save and submit to a specific agent, agency, or group of agencies.

What happens when I create a project on Voice Force?

After you’ve made and submitted your project, the agent or agents you’ve sent it to will receive an alert. From there, the agent can view the project and submit the breakdown to their talent. The talent then records their audition and uploads directly into the platform, which is, in turn, received by their agent, who submits it to you for casting.

Once you receive an alert for talent submissions, you may use our Voice Force Casting Tools to assist in your process. We have provided the ability to assign colors and sorting options to the talent tiles once you have received them. Moving and re-ordering the tiles along with a tiered color-coding system will provide visual tools to aid in the casting process.

When you’ve made your casting decisions, select Request Cast or Request Avail to submit your request to the agency.

The agent will receive your request and return a confirmation once the casting has been accepted (or rejected, if the talent is no longer available).

Does it cost anything for me to post a project?

Not a dime! Our platform is always free for buyers. However, in order to take advantage of all that Voice Force has to offer, our Premium Plan allows buyers access to our complete talent database and its powerful search tools.

What does “Upgrade to Premium” mean?

Upgrading to Premium means that for $19.99 per month, buyers have full, unlimited access to our complete talent database and its powerful search tools.

What happens when I upgrade my account?

After you upgrade to Premium, you will automatically be billed monthly. You will have immediate access to the Voice Force talent search and database.

Can I send my project to agencies outside of the platform?

No, you will only be able to send your projects to agencies that are on our platform.

I'm trying to post a project, but I don't see the criteria I need for talent when posting a project. What can I do?

If you don’t see the criteria/selections you need in the drop-down menus of the project fields, please email support@voiceforce.net. Our admin team should be able to add criteria within 24 hours of your email inquiry.

What do "Project Start," "Project End," and "Deadline Date" mean?

Project Start – This is the first day of production after casting has taken place.

Project End – This is the close of production. Think of the start and end dates as the avail dates.

Deadline Date – This is the date that auditions are due. After this date passes, agents and talent will not be able to submit auditions.

Are there limits to how often or how many projects I can post?

Nope, you can post all the projects your heart desires!

Where did my project go?

Projects that have passed their record date are considered expired and are removed from your calendar view for archiving.

How do I view my expired projects?

If you would like to view expired or archived projects, please send a request to support@voiceforce.net. You will receive an email when we have enabled your project archive. These projects will be visible to you for 48 hours.

How can I search for talent?

This is a feature that is only available with a Premium Subscription.

Once logged in, click the “Talent” link. This will take you to our talent search page. Our database allows searching by agent, vocal abilities, age, name, characteristics, studio ability, and so much more.

You can also save your favorite talent (and agents) by clicking the star icon next to their name. This way, the next time you go to look for that particular person, all you have to do is click the “Favorites” link on the talent search page.

How do I review talent submissions and book talent, or place them on avail?

When an agent submits an audition, you will receive a notification prompting you to review the submission. When reviewing, you’ll be taken to the Casting page, where you can scroll through the submitted actors and review the auditions.

We have provided the ability to assign colors and sorting options to the talent tiles once you have received them. Moving and re-ordering the tiles along with a tiered color-coding system will provide visual tools to aid in the casting process.

On each actor’s submission are links to make a request for casting or to place the talent on avail.

The agent will receive your request and return a confirmation once the casting has been accepted (or rejected, if the talent is no longer available).

You can message the agency within the platform and hammer out all the details from there. Everything is self-contained for your convenience!

What kinds of file can I upload to my breakdown?

We support the uploading of .pdf and .docx files to your breakdown in the Scripts and NDA sections. Please ensure the file name doesn’t include any special characters (!@#$%^&*).
