Questions for Buyers

How do I create a project?

When you are logged in to the platform, go to the Breakdowns dashboard, and click New Breakdown. From there, add in all the pertinent information for the project, including the role(s). Be sure to click Add after each role. You can save the project as a draft or finalize it, at which point it’s ready to be submitted to your roster.

What do Project Start, Project End, and Deadline Date mean?

Project Start is the first day of production. Project End is the close of production. Think of the start and end dates as the avail dates. Deadline Date is the date that auditions are due. After this date passes, agents and talent will not be able to submit auditions.

What happens when I create a project on Voice Force?

Agents you’ve sent the project to can view the project and submit the breakdown to their talent. The talent then records their audition and uploads directly into the platform, which is, in turn, received by their agent, who submits it to you for casting.

We have a number of tools available to assist you in categorizing and ranking auditions, including color-coding and sorting by preference. When you’ve made your casting decisions, select Request Cast or Request Avail to submit your request to the agency.

The agent will receive your request and return a confirmation once the casting has been accepted (or rejected, if the talent is no longer available).

How much does Voice Force cost?

Our platform is free for buyers. However, in order to take advantage of all that Voice Force has to offer, our Premium Plan allows you to search the talent database, listen to reels and demos, and locate talent from agencies you would like to submit to. This plan is billed at $19.99 per month.

Can I send my project to agencies outside the platform?

This is a feature that is only available with a Premium Subscription, billed at $19.99 per month.

Once logged in, click the Talent link. This will take you to our talent search page, which allows searching by agent, vocal abilities, age, name, characteristics, studio ability, and more. You can also add talent and agents to a favorites list for easy access.

Can I send my project to agencies outside the platform?

No, you will only be able to send your projects to agencies that are on Voice Force. If you would like to submit to an agent who isn’t with us, please let us know and we’ll reach out to them to get them on board.

How do I view past projects?

Projects that have passed their record date are considered expired and are removed from your calendar view. If you would like to view expired or archived projects, please contact us. You will receive an email when we have enabled your project archive. These projects will be visible to you for 48 hours.

What kinds of files can I upload to my breakdown?
